Nicole K James lives in Beaverdale, Iowa with her husband, Philip, her four boys that are growing way too fast, their dog, Lammy, and lots of chickens. Her home studio has taken over the basement of the house and sometimes the upstairs, too.

Her work has been featured in galleries, and her many murals and installations can be found in schools, parks and on the sides of public buildings.
